Yesterday, when I posted this story, I was chastised because some of the comments in the video were “out of context.” Indeed, the White House came out and made the same argument. Today, however, we have a longer version of Obama’s 2003 statements, uncut, and readily digestible.
As we all know, Dems define “out of context” as “anything said publicly by a left-wing leader that may be damaging to their cause.” This new video won’t satisfy them. Their next course of action will be to say that in order to understand the context, you have to watch the entire hour long speech. I respectfully disagree. The comments here are plain as day, precise, and emphatic. Obama wants a single payer, government run system, and he wants to eliminate private insurance.
As he says in the video “Everybody in. Nobody out.”
There’s just no denying his real goals here. Unless, that is, you’re naive enough to think Obama’s magically changed his mind on socialized medicine, even as he forces it through Congress.
You’re not really that naive are you?
Tell us again, Mr. President, about how “Nobody’s talking about a single payer system.”
