History time, folks.

The Nazi concentration camp, Dachau, was the prototype.

When Hitler built Dachau, it’s original stated purpose was the internment of what the Nazis called “asocials.”  What were “asocials?”   Well, over time, the term came to be applied primarily to the millions of Jews and Gays that would be murdered during the course of the war.  Originally however, “asocials” were the poor.

The term applied to vagrants, the homeless, beggars, and yes, people who failed to pay their taxes.  Basically, anyone who wasn’t pulling their financial weight in the fascist fatherland was labelled an “asocial,” and once Dachau was up and running, they were sent off to jail.

“Why?” the National Socialist Party wondered, “should those who fail to pay their fair share have access to the same German bounties that fine, upstanding Nazis are enjoying?”

Bottom line? The German banking and health care systems, which had recently been taken over by the Fuhrer, had no place for those unwilling to “do their part.”

Flash forward to 2009, where Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Barack Obama are doing their damnedest to take over the U.S. Health Care System.   Lo-and-behold, they’ve come to the same conclusion as Hitler.

According to Pelosi’s Health Care Bill, which just passed the House, if you’re uninsured and fail to buy a $15,000 government insurance plan, you will be penalized through the IRS.   Fail to pay the penalty, and it’s off to jail with you.

The talking heads try to deny the jail terms, claiming they’re just “tax laws.”  Dems won’t speak about them, and the media is, per usual, complicit.

So, You have to go to the horse’s mouth.   Here’s Obama and Pelosi being given the chance to deny that they intend to send people to jail over health insurance penalties.

Not exactly comforting, is it?

Too broke to pay your IRS lack-of-insurance penalty, but not quite broke enough for Barry’s hardship exemption?  Uh-Oh!

Uninsured, and ticked off the wrong government official?  Uh-Oh!

What started out as the Dachau prototype lead to a staggering 1500 concentration camps, and millions of deaths all over the world.  Do we really want to give the government the kind of power that could set us on that path again?

No wonder Pelosi keeps seeing swastikas everywhere…..

In these difficult economic times, I might expect cost cutting measures from the Wal-Marts of the world, but from Al Gore?  Never.

With that in mind, I’m sure you can understand the almost-crippling disillusionment I suffered upon learning that Al Gore’s cable station, Current Media, had decided to fire almost a fifth of its employees.

As if lost in a fog, I became desperate to understand what could have lead Al to commit such an atrocity against his workers.  Obviously, I assumed it must have been a situation where, if the employees were not let go, Current Media would collapse and either face bankruptcy or some kind of bailout.

“He’s doing it to protect the others,” I thought, “It’s for the children.”

Then I read the press release, which stated:  “This re-organization was not the result of a need to cut costs. Current Media will have its most profitable year.”

That’s right.  The move was made to guarantee profits.   Gore and his corporate buddies, all of whom clearly have no idea what it’s like out here for the little guy, fired hard working members of the proletariat in order to secure….money.

Doesn’t Gore know that during his speech to Congress, the chosen one, Barack Hussein Obama, instructed the nation in the fact that corporate greed - profits - are just part of what he calls “overhead?”

If only Gore would have followed the President’s advice, and lowered his overhead, those poor souls could have kept their jobs.

Shame on you, Mr. Gore.  When the members of the working class rise up against your greed, you will rue this day!
