When Obama wanted the rest of the stimulus cash released, he called Bush for help. When he needs help in Haiti, he calls Bush. When he needs help because the Norhern Ireland peace process is about to collapse, you guessed it, he calls Bush.

Why, if Obama is just so darn wise, intelligent, and all around Dreamy, is he unable to handle these things without the assistance of a man he’s demonized for the last three years?

I don’t know what kind of environmental impact could have been generated by a bunch of six-year-olds running around the White House lawn, but fortunately, I no longer have to worry. Our government has put on its thinking cap and found away to limit the ecological destruction caused by the annual toddler event.

The solution to the devastation? Better eggs.

This year’s eggs will be made of a recyclable paperboard compund that, praise be, contains absolutely NO wood fibers from endangered forests.

Since I know how concerned you’ve all been, I’ll continue.

In addition to the compressed paper, the eggs will feature vegetable-oil inks coated in a water based finish designed to be colorful, eco-friendly, and more expensive than last years eggs.

Finally, this administration is starting to solve the problems people really care about. Up next? Avatar depression!

Now, I’m not arguing that equating Obama’s legislative impotence with an inability to sell watermelons necessarily makes Dan Rather a racist. However, leftie pundits love to cite the concept of “subconscious racism” – the notion that most white people don’t even know what racists they really are, until they let something like this slip.

Olbermann and Garafalo basically keep themselves relevant by exploiting this notion. So, with that in mind….. What this clip clearly demonstrates is the “unprovable fact” that Dan Rather is a subconscious racist.

It also demonstrates the old media double standard. If Limbaugh, Beck, or Hannity had said this, the firestorm would have been immediate and lethal. I doubt they would have been allowed to finish their shows before they were yanked off the air.

Good stuff, Mr. Rather….

“The integrity of elections is dependent upon citizens and officials insisting they be conducted lawfully. Wisconsin’s citizens should not have to wonder whether their vote has been negated or diminished by illegally cast ballots”

With those words, Wisconsin’s Attorney General handed down indictments against five Milwaukee residents, including two ACORN employees: Maria Miles and Kevin Clancy. The charges all stem from election fraud during the 2008 Presidential campaign.

According to the indictment, both Miles and Clancy are charged with “Falsely Procuring Voter Registration as Party To a Crime.” According to the Attorney General, both defendants submitted multiple fraudulent voter registration applications and had themselves fraudulently registered multiple times to meet ACORN quotas.

Let’s hope Wisconsin is prepared to follow the ACORN chain of command on this one….

If, as Obama claims, “everything has been said about health care,” why are they on tour again?

The most open administration in history is having yet another go at the campaign trail. Sadly, they’ve dumped their openness on the side of the road somewhere, like that battered, individual tennis shoe you see on the highway shoulder.

The President has claimed time and again that he wants to make sure the people’s voices are heard, and he says he’d like to hear them as he makes his closing arguments regarding health care. This morning, the “Ram-It-Down-Their-Throats Express” is in Philadelphia for a speaking engagement that’s completely open to the public…if you were paying attention two days ago when they handed out tickets.

Missed the unreported ”widely reported” ticket announcement?

You’re out of luck, but are faring better than the sad sacks in St. Louis who’d like to attend Wednesday’s rally. That speech is closed door, and invitation only. So, if you’re not on the President’s super-secret guest list, it looks like you’ll be tailgating.

All the skullduggery, of course, is designed to avoid dealing with people who don’t want Obama’s “reforms” to pass. According to Rasmussen, that number is now somewhere North of 55%, while only 20% strongly approve of the President’s plan. With such overwhelming disdain for the health care bill, Obama’s “closing arguments” could be subject to, shall we say… vociferous disagreement. It’s easy to understand why the Administration has, as usual, chosen tight control over their much vaunted openness and transparency.

Please note that if you’re in St. Louis, and would like to let the President know just how unpopular his plan is, you won’t be alone. The St. Louis Tea Party is planning to stage a rally at the event and, unlike the President’s speech, everyone is welcome to attend. Go here for more info: http://stlouisteaparty.com/

It is vitally important, now more than ever, that the crowds are of a size the media can’t ignore. So, please, if you can make it, do.

I probably should have posted something but, as promised just before Christmas, I’ve been working feverishly on a plan to redesign the blog.

Last week, I captured a band of Dwarven cobblers and cookiemakers. Then, I retrained them to handle blog updates. You might think it’s a lot of work for nothing, but it really takes the pressure off yours truly. Besides, in their off-hours I can still force them to bake and repair shoes. Pure profit!

Not since Gary Coleman starred in “On The Right Track” have little people been used so effectively!

See you back here Monday, with new content and, God willing, a new look.

Stay tuned….

I have a new piece up at the Daily Caller. It’s a light and fluffy souffle of optimism, dealing with four things that give me hope for the future.
Among them are State’s nullifying national health care reform before it’s even passed, Robert Gibbs, the 10th Amendment battle, and ordinary, angry citizens.
Check it out here…

A top Obama advisor has let Reuters know that it has high hopes for passage of it’s “comprehensive” climate change bill.
Why do they think they can push it through?
Because Obama is ready to lead the way on the expansion of nuclear power.
That’s right, Obama is now championing the left-wing boogieman best symbolized by giant, white, steam-spewing cones.

Carol Browner, Obama’s number one climate advisor, said ”We also hope that Republicans and others, supporters of nuclear (power), will take note that the administration is prepared to provide leadership on issues that are important to solving our energy future and creating a different energy future.”

Sure thing carol. Color me skeptical.

If there’s one thing we know about the left-wing radicals who populate the Obama administration, it’s that a hatred of nuclear anything runs deep in their veins. I’ve got a crisp new hundred dollar bill that says the environmental language to undo nuclear power is buried in the same bill that Obama says will kick start the construction of new plants. There’s just no way that these tigers can change their Springsteen-inspired “No nukes” stripes.

Even if they’ve magically come to the conclusion that nuclear power is the way forward, the economy-killing language in their climate legislation will ensure its Senatorial failure.

So, move along people. There’s nothing to see here…
